DESIGN FOR PRINT AND WEB//FEEDBACK WORKSHOP//OUGD504

FEEDBACK WORKSHOP:  Today we did a session about how to get the most out of crit feedback, what questions work successfully for the type of feedback appropriate to your work?  How can you get feedack without asking for validation?

MY THREE QUESTIONS:
  • What message/concept is being displayed to you through my work?
  • Is the design appropriate for the target audience?
  • Has type been used effectively?
As a group we then had to put together a list of questions for feedback:
  • How do you articulate the brief?
  • Is the product Range consistent? 
  • Does the web-based outcome relate to the print based outcome?
  • What would you say the target audience are from the aesthetics of the product range?
  • Is the content appropriate to the target audience?
  • Does it meet the deliverables?
  • Where do you see the products being distributed?
  • Could the concept it be successful in the current climate?
DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING WORDS:
  • Strong
  • Clear
  • Nice
  • Work
  • Good
As a group we then had to come up with a list of things that we thought appropriate to bring in for tomorrows crit:
  • Feedback Questions
  • Design Boards : In Context, Development, Range & Distribution, Research, Colour Scheme.
  • Mock-Ups - Products - Print and Digital.
  • Design Sheets
  • The Re-Written Brief / Rationale
  • Blog Accessible - Laptop
  • Previous Crit Feedback

  • Development
