I decided to incorporate the image of a compass to represent travelling and to include my 'line'
Playing with certain type faces to see what font fits the name of the city best, I thought Parisian (the third one) would work the best but I think the first one, Campanile, as opposed to Market Deco.
Final poster:
I decided to edit out the word placed on the bridge in the Amsterdam photo as I think it was distracting from the compass graphic.
