WHAT IS A LINE? IDEA DEVELOPMENT//OUGD404

I have decided to create a set of posters using photographs that I took whilst inter railing, photos of recognisable landmarks around Europe or a photo that sums up a specific City in Europe.  I would like to use some interesting photographs rather than completely obvious ones.  I want to create a logo that will be put on all the posters and advertise inter railing with the official inter rail website and a possible slogan.  I would also like to incorporate a compass symbol in the posters as it was my 'line' and symbolises travelling.  These are some of the photos I took that I will consider:
