COLLABORATIVE BRIEF//TED BAKER//LOOK BOOK RESEARCH//OUGD503

LOOK BOOK RESEARCH:
These are some look books I found to get some inspiration for creating the Ted Baker: When in Rome... campaign look book.

This is the Jack Wills Look Book, I think this design has a 'catalogue' feel about it, based on its layout.  There are definitely some aspects of the designs I would like to carry through when designing for 'When in Rome...' however I would like to display Ted Baker in a more high end manner.
When comparing a brand like Jack Wills look book/handbook to a brand considered more high end there are certain aspects of layout and design in the publications that differ.  Jack Wills has more writing about the garments whereas, if comparing it to Vivienne Westwoods look book, has limited writing and minimal design.

Higher end fashion look books tend to show less of the garments off the models, whereas in this some are displayed more so like a catalogue:
VIVIENNE WESTWOOD:  The styles of both look books do contrast, Westwood is a higher end designer label than Jack Wills and this is reflected based on stock and images used:
This look book focuses more on images taking up most of the page, information about the clothing/collection isn't found on the same page as the garments themselves but can be referred to at the back of the booklet.
