WHAT IS DESIGN FOR PRINT?//BOOK RESEARCH//OUGD504

FORMS FOLDS SIZES - POPPY EVANS
This is a book I got out of the library which was really helpful for visual diagram designs and paper sizes and folds.  This helped me understand more about folds and sizes
SINGLE ACCORDION FOLD
Two simple folds where one fold bends in the opposite direction of the other resulting in six panels or pages.  Accordion folds can compromise six, eight, ten and sometimes twelve panels or pages.
PERFORATING:
Perforating involves punching a line of holes to make tearing easier, it can be done as part of the binding process to makes signatures easier to fold before they are bound and trimmed as part of a publication, or as means of facilitating tear-offs on pieces that include response vehicles, such as business reply cards.
