Today we were put into groups and had to determine what packing was of higher quality and what was of lower quality. We had to bring in some packaging of our own, these were the ones I brought in:
These are the nets for the products:
We then put them in hierarchy of quality ranging from high quality to low quality
TOP QUALITY:
- Nice feeling stock
- Sustainability
- Looks expensive
- Durability
- Net complexity
MIDDLE:
- Disposable
- Good durability, but design doesn’t match
- Not amazing design, or mundane stock
- Familiarity
LOW:
- Overcrowding
- Garish colours
- Mass produced (looking)
- Attempting to mimic
- Poor quality images
- Packaging that isn’t needed
- Attempting to mimic
