RESPONSIVE//HELL FIRE//FINAL DESIGN//OUGD503

HELLFIRE FINAL DESIGNS:
This is my final design for the Hellfire brief, I decided to go with the idea of Hellfire Corner, I thought the imagery for this worked well, the black and white old fashioned style photograph compliments the style and design of the beer i wanted to capture.
HELLFIRE BILLBOARD POSTER:
I decided to create  billboard poster to advertise the beer, I thought this worked well because the image is visually quite nice and eye catching, the type stands out and is eye catching, with the slogan at the bottom right of the poster.
Final label:  The concept behind the label design is linked to Hellfire Corner, hellfire corner  was considered 'the most dangerous corner on earth'.  Intersecting with the Menin Road it was an important route junction under constant observation and fire by Germans on the high ground.Anything that moved across it was fired upon.  Consequently canvas screens were erected beside the road in an attempt to conceal movement, much of which took place under cover of darkness, when the junction thronged with activity.

This is where the slogan came in 'when you're in a hurry for one hell of a pale ale.' as it was a rush to get by Hellfire corner because it was under constant fire, also the imagery looks as though they are racing on horses to get a pint of Hellfire beer.
